so i've noticed battery life stinks , of comes home , lock screen.... lot of notifications , that's problem notifications. i'm big sports fan final score , breaking news notifications sports teams , major news updates. of time though phone in pocket waking display huge waste of battery. there possible way make these breaking news updates remain in notifications instead of waking display , wasting battery, there viewing when manually wake display? if not, recommend other solutions? or out of luck?   switch sports notifications off , check sports websites @ leisure. can set them banners , not alerts. remove them lock screen too. ----------   Forums iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch iOS iOS 8 ...

i'm running problem can't keep buying hard drives... they're stacking , it's getting ridiculous. need makes sense. i'm photographer , need system working with, archiving, , backing media. here's (ideally) need: 1. working ssd thunderbolt (or usb3) drive - *active projects stored here* (this 1 easy solve) 2. sort of storage device archive old projects. doesn't need super fast. great have 2 computers able access @ same time not essential. - *old projects stored here* 3. system backing everything. includes... working drive archives internal computer drive/ system files...etc since have few hard drives figure can use 1 of time machine take care of @ least system file backup. okay... thoughts? keep in mind don't have thousands of dollars blow.   what budget?   Forums ...
