i'm @ loss here, i'm asking help! have work issued late '13 15" macbook pro on 10.9.5 discrete gpu , dell p2715q 4k monitor. should able native 4k or several scaled hidpi / retina resolutions setup - can't. os x , switchresx allow me go 2560x1440 (scaled). on monitor, thats blurry , it's hard code this. i've tried googling issues no success. i've been playing switchresx morning , haven't figured out either. i've created custom resolutions of retina resolutions, never active on reboot - says "invalid" pointer on how proceed here? driving me nuts! have personal mid-'14 , has no issues display, works perfectly. in advance!   which refresh rates using? late 2013 can't 4k 60hz, while mid 2014 can.   Forums Macs ...
