Is the apple watch compatible with cardio equipment?

hey guys use polar chest strap monitor heart rate when use cardio equipment @ gym. strap communicates gym equipment , automatically slows down or speeds treadmill make sure i'm maintaining heart rate when train. im not big fan of chest strap because uncomfortable. guys know if apple watch work cardio equipment current polar setup?

chest straps send out bt or ant+ radio frequency meant watch equipment locks onto. :apple:watch sensor hard wired s1 chip there no radio communication lock onto.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
