Are third party band adaptors/bands preempted by Apple's design patent?

apple granted this design patent on band attachments.

seems me foreclose (legal) third-party bands/adapters without license apple, suspect take considerable time , may come more strings.

sad (i backed click) unsurprised.

reading differently am?
 

well that's interesting. expecting in few months we'd have flourishing 3rd party watch band market, have such huge marketplace of iphone cases. if patent doesn't allow , apple enforces hello lifetime of $49 rubber watch bands.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
