Text Message Notifications Not Coming Through Watch

i have tried tone of settings can't seem notifications texts show on watch. no audio, no taptic, nothing...help? missing something?
 

did make you did not play iphone, ipad or mac? first day received it, had phone on , wondering why never got on watch. had reset twice find out sends notification when phone / ipad / mac not on.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
