TRIM on third party SSD

i have installed 850 evo , upgraded yosemite realized trim can't enabled without disabling kext.

i'm reading conflicting posts on whether it's necessary.
apparently sandforce controllers has form of it's own trim? not sure samsung mgx.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
