If you put phone in silent, does the watch automatically go silent too?

i go ask text me , test this, figured easier ask.
 

i don't think case. putting phone in silent doesn't activate mute setting in glances screen, , still sound when activity notifications.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
