How does icloud work? HELP

ok have lot of photos , videos saved on phone , im running out of memory. them icloud , delete them off phone , remain in cloud? whenever new videos , photos can keep backing them , old photos remain saved in cloud?


if needed how retrive them phone.
 

icloud keeps copy of on phone, providing have enough cloud space. enables backup phone instead of using itunes, if delete things off phone deleted icloud backup well.

cloud storage space different, such dropbox etc. these storage facilities virtual hard drive, yes can save things there , delete them phone.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
