Will the flex 2 patch that definitely works on Apple tv work on av adapter

hello,

have flex 2 , installed patch allowed me watch sky sports mobile tv airplay. don't have apple tv when went round bro's house (he has apple tv) surprisingly, worked. made me want buy 1 don't want spend 99£ found av adapter on apple website i'm concerned sky sports patch won't work adapter because it's not on airplay , main reason why want buy 1 .

apple tv's £59 (in uk), , you'll find 3rd gen ones around £45 mark on ebay if don't mind used one.

assume av adapter mention plugs iphone or ipad? if should output whats on phone or tablet screen, screen of choice, irrespective of airplay.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
