Mac Mini 2012 FAQ?

3x macmini6,2 arrive on doorstep. expect utilise stack venture vmware esxi territory.

base, they're 2.3ghz 4gb ram , 2x 1.0tb 5400rpm drives. upgrading each 16gb ram, , thinking 2x 256/480/512gb ssd each.

can tell me - or point me existing list - of caveats when upgrading, , known working parts?


  • word crucial memory , ssds tested in-house compatibility
  • can't decide myself if owc products rort or safest bet
  • think other 2012 users around traps have been using samsung pro , evo drives without issues


recommendations on parts?
 

crucial reliable brand when comes ram, , has worked fine me in imac. ssds, samsung tends use quality nand choice there. 2.5" sata ssd including ones mentioned should work fine in mac mini.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
