What happened to Wimax?

i don't know why failed wondering dead everywhere?
on isp uses wimax , works great me stable connection , decent speed.

should expect isp cancel service or what? there other places around world still use technology?
 

the shortest answer is.. carriers opted go lte on wimax because easier , cheaper integrate.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
