iOS 8.3 update Can barely hear on a call

hi, since upgrading ios 8.3 on iphone 6 can barely hear other person when on call, loud speaker works fine. else having issue or hardware fault coincidence ?
 

i'm assuming you've separately tried increasing volume while call on earpiece (rather speakerphone or that, since believe have separate controls).

have tried restarting phone? perhaps resetting network settings if not settings?

sound related settings might have effect , might worth checking out, noise cancellation (you can disable , enable again), or mono sound (also can enable , disable again).

of course, odd hardware thing popped around same time.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
