uTorrent not working after 10.9.5 update

i ran security update 2015-002 yesterday, , after reboot, found utorrent activity window blank. attempts add new torrents via torrent file , magnet link foregrounded utorrent, showed no response... window (all panes in fact) empty.

interestingly, if open torrent file of torrent had been in process, dialog informs torrent running. none of half-complete files in download directory show signs of having been modified since yesterday.

have reinstalled utorrent creator's site no avail. else having experience? tips restore function?

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
