How do I get this off of my desktop?

hey everyone,

noob question...

i'm setting new mac , i'm noticing things sticking desktop. in particular when download google chrome (i think it's called dmg?) doesn't leave desktop. thought simple case of sending trash when do, have redownload chrome.

i've attached picture of i'm talking about. can please let me know how can off of desktop? tidy on there.

iPhone shuts down randomly, rst vdd_under
