More rMB Details - Hands On (pros and cons)

i wasn't planning on writing review, after using day noticed things have yet posted. know apologize repeat, still thinking rmb may find these details interesting. i've used macbooks since 2007 , i've have 3 mba last 5 years (four mba if include wife's). rmb different in build , user experience. few items feel worthy note.

1. 100% clear, because have read false reports, charging cord not short. on six feet long. there reports cord length of ipad charger , that's false. cord on 6 feet long.

2. speakers loud. knew after testing in store. but, using outside store sound quality telling. far best sound quality of laptop have ever used. and, i've been using laptops since 90s. x2 louder 11" 2014 mba. there plenty of posts though.

3. 1 concern had previous today lack of wrist/palm rest space due position of keyboard. may still issue people have long fingers or big hands (strongly recommend try before buy if fall category). on 11" mba took me several months used typing without hurting wrist/palm on edge of laptop. afraid of same issue here, because laptop thin feels i'm typing on desk itself.

4. charging fast. did test afternoon , went 65% 100% in 35 minutes. can pretty assume almost full charge in hour's time. laptop sleeping, not turned off.

5. battery life. starting 100% starting customizing laptop. included downloading , installing photoshop, ms office, flash, moving files, etc. in 2 , half hours used 30%. may seem lot, it's not considering downloading , installing takes processing power. 2 , half hours of nonstop use.

6. keyboard took me hour used to. after full day i'm fine it. not mistype @ all. if "feel" if type faster, though it's imagination due faster travel of keys.

7. build quality feels iphone 6. done.

cons
1. not power cord. i'm used magsafe having "plug in" power cord feels odd. also, there no light indicator on power cord used mba models. miss these 2 features. magsafe barely had "plug in" power cord due magnet , swipe remove. not anymore.

2. not fan of "force touch". me how track pad worked before 100% fine. after several hours turned off "force touch" feature because accidentally activate it. there no features need "force touch" for. personal preference on one.

3. odd say...it's light. not big "con". more of used to. current laptop 11" mba , able tell if in work bag or not. placed rmb in work bag , cannot tell @ all. light. honestly, lighter first or second ipad models. how apple got full desktop computer in this...i don't know.

hope shed new light on rmb still researching. also, store manager told me morning received email corporate launching apple usb-c 3 ports adapter. it's coming soon. still purchased adapter iphone 6.

ps: when started typing thread battery @ 100%. i'm done , it's still @ 100%.

for force touch concerns, did try adjusting pressure needed activate?

in tests @ apple store, default setting literally exact same pressure needed activate non-force touch track pad. i'm not sure what's different you.
