looking recommendations backup storage drive/s original 1080 , 4k media new imac 5k. don't use raw and/or red media. separate media raid hard drives used in fcpx, motion, etc. suggest raid setup, thunderbolt 2 or simple usb 3.0? in advance help. ray
 

if it's backup drive, speed read , write unimportant. use inexpensive usb 3 connected large capacity hard drive.
