How safe is to sell my MacBook on eBay?

i'm selling macbook 2012 on ebay pretty tells me want use using paypal , i've read paypal can quite dangerous since can tell paypal didn't receive item , paypal take money me, have experiences been far?
 

i have never sold on ebay, bought.

have been ripped off once, cost of item ($150 usd) wasn't worth time spend on getting issue resolved. left seller 1 star rating, chalked lesson learned, , moved on. seller did royally upset @ me 1 star rating, though. so, there some amount of satisfaction on part there. guess in end, win-win. :d got $150, , made them angry justified 1 star rating.

venom bit on top, though. f-bombs , whatnot weren't justified, imho. people don't deal stress, suppose.

on flip side, don't think ever sell on ebay. have heard many stories these days buyers scamming sellers (reverse scams, call them.) can't safe anywhere online these days, suppose.

advice use craigslist, , sell person that's local. meet in public place (apple store, example) , transaction there. cash only, "as-is, sales final" type thing (but provide full disclosure buyer system's history ... issues, repairs, etc.)
