New rMBP Owner - Few Questions - Please Help

hello everyone,

new mac world , acquired brand new macbook pro retina 13" , far loving it.

have downloaded bunch of crap on past few days , far good.

did notice 1 thing though, reason why shut down computer, kind of fades (still see wallpaper) shuts off. there no spinner icon on bottom had first few days, not sure can be. dims , turns off if power button has been pressed several seconds hard shutdown.

today while listening music, logged me off out of , prompted enter password again.

wise re-install yosemite in order avoid fear of being it?

also, noticed when connect dell d3100 dock macbook in order use 2 monitors in dock, runs good, exception of google chrome window flakey , studderish.
 

well reinstall because without knowing couldn't if got kind spyware.

standard scanning software trojans, etc. mac os x adwaremedic.

checking incompatible files use etrecheck use it's scan incompatible files , manually delete them, restart.
