Cancelling orders, Apple hype, thoughts

i know know ... there plenty of threads already.

ordered today many did , excitement wears off little, have few thoughts. , share them, wether think useful or not.

1) apple did it, hyped hard , succeeded

think how long has been since first keynote has shown final watch. hardware final, had no idea software.

think apple holding because know cannot deliver ecosystem generation.

hyped it, harder android wear, samsung or other vendor.
, succeeded, though limited device. congrats that.

2) watch not phone

buy every iphone because know ios , iphone go in tandem. it's fun see new specs , features make experience. watch i'm not sure.

not change firmware much, because content coming phone. specs limited have headroom exciting features.

so? worth it? i'm not sure anymore...

phone fun because apps growing cpu, gpu, screen size, etc. watch might not. not larger screens, not standalone ever, because apple relies on combination of iphone , watch. potential quite limited in opinion.

3) not being first

it's frowned upon, big part of buying new apple stuff being first.
might first time backfire.
hardware perspective watch has no real resale value.

once second gen update comes out, there's no reason buy old one.
if don't buy now, makes less sense in 6 month. less phone. phones last longer 1 cycle, handed down iphone 5, still own 5s , have 6. 3 of them fine.

4) cancelling orders

seems apple had slow start introducing it, there's wwdc ios @ least point roadmap of features. believe watch has follow soon. if watch stays @ gen. 1 long, dated rather besides ios innovation.

if turns out delivery dates slip may , june, might cancel order , skip model. while fun have 1 year, doubt spending money 9 month reasonable.

said earlier, model has little potential grow.

app store required new iphone generations meaningful @ all.
watch. has innovate real quick relevant.

one, think shortly after owning it, agree wanted version 2 along.

wait, , if order not improve regarding delivery dates, i'll skip.

know sounds bitter, , correct i'm disappointed. thing is, can still buy 5s , have great small phone, can not buy watch around holiday season, after new phones guide way.

 

as say, whatever floats boat, each own. life, master of universe.

, make entry in calendar app these statements alarm 2 months now. feel tap in wrist telling me have reminder/notification. gaze towards wrist, read these same comments , ellicit smile. why? because can. cheers !!!
