awesome article anandtech core m structure , why asus ux305 800 mhz cpu outperforms other core m laptops 5y71 @ 1.2 ghz , can faster i5 broadwell-u cpu.
comes down how apple able dissipate heat , how new design of mb is. find optimal cpu new mb require few reviews , comparing them each other.
looks good, though i've not yet taken time read full article.
sure chips apple using 3 trim lines of rmb? i've read (on these forums) speculation 5y51, 5y70 , 5y71 1.1, 1.2 , 1.3 ghz models, respectively. 5y10 won't option.
i've read apple using 5y70 1.1ghz model, , 5y71 both 1.2 , 1.3 ghz models, 1.3 up-clocked apple.
chart on first page of anandtech article, however, seems neither of may accurate, given turbo-boost ceilings. apple's models are: 1.1-2.4ghz, 1.2-2.6ghz, , 1.3-2.9ghz. none of these match intel chart. appears apple using 5y31 base model, , up-clocking 1.1ghz native .9. middle tier, may using 5y51 or 5y70 (though 5y70 has no ctdp listed, maybe not), up-clocked 1.2ghz native 1.1. and, top end, bto model, may using 5y71, notched 1.3 1.2.
if guessing, i'd apple doing this:
1.1 model = 5y31 @ 1.1 ghz
1.2 model = 5y51 @ 1.2 ghz
1.3 model = 5y71 @ 1.3 ghz
not sure scenario believe. maybe no 1 knows yet, , won't until fixit tear-down or something.
