how do you copy files from an apple iMac to an SD card

i know might sound funny question have thought 2014 imac handle copying files sd card can put photo's onto 1 of digital picture frames.

try , copy files hangs in copy process. creates files 0 length.

sd card formatted fat32.

so, have applecare, called apple , told support rep reason did not work because sd card formatted fat32 , needed reformat apple journaled format.

know camera doesn't support apple journal formatted sd cards, , doubt sony picture frame either. actual limitation of apple cannot write sd card unless formatted @ apple ?? or talking @ apple has less of clue of how things work cat?
 

you're talking wrong believe. i'm pretty sure if mac needed sd card in apple journaled format, wouldn't read in first place.
idk answer don't think needs formatted apple journaled. mean, try it. have lose besides few minutes? transfer photos computer first though.
