i have iphone 6+ , love it. solid eco-system, security, etc make perfect device do.
however, i'm @ breaking point because skype horribly supported on ios , entire workday spent on skype developers sharing images, documents, etc -- can't done on iphone since mid last year. microsoft has intentions on bringing these features no eta.
on top of that, speaker isn't loud, unless it's game phone calls incredibly weak in sound. i've had experience every iphone, it's not device.
lastly, possible android phone have better cell signal on iphone or vis-versa within area? ask because have verizon , have 3 out of 5 bars always. both of partners have moto x & galaxy s5 , have full bars. when phone gets wifi drops 1 bar , becomes spotty (any wifi & @ house it's 50down 6up , can stand next airport extreme 1 bar).
i've owned lot of android phones , iphones...
regarding bolded above ->while it's possible (due antenna placement , materials used), never noticed appreciable difference between android hardware , iphones. also, think when looking @ number of bars (and not db), both software use different threshold when change (or down) bar depending on signal strength (at least, that's recall reading @ point).
far skype concernted, i've had bad luck skype, regardless of platform (windows, mac os x, ios, android), haven't used skype in few years family members have @ least 1 facetime compatible device.
also, i'm not sure question except 1 regarding signal strength. i've owned both 2013 , 2014 moto x (and iphone 5, 5s, 5c, , iphone 6) , use iphone 6 daily driver. sold moto x few months on swappa. loved moto x , best android device used date, @ end of day, camera still lack luster , lollipop in it's infancy had many issues.
i have external monitor (nec pa271w) has custom calibrated profile. problem i'm having whenever i'm on safari , use magic trackpad go previous page colors off while page reloads. once it's loaded colors go custom profile. after lot of reading found out if set system preferences - display - color srgb iec61966-2.1 colors match , page reloads faster. here's example of i'm seeing while go 2 finger gesture. issue happens using coverflow in finder. has experienced same issues on external monitor? driving me crazy Forums Macs Mac Accessories iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Computers Apple Music Professional Applications iPod iWork Apple TV iLife Wireless
okay, know how battery cycles , work. want know is: how many cycles battery has how old battery is how many mah macbook shipped with how many mah have now reading thread on different site macbook batteries , commenting battery info. of them commenting saying reached 120 cycles per year. 1 guy said mac 3 years old on 250 cycles (avg. 83 year). think person had 400 after 2 years. in 'system information' says age of macbook 3 months old (when arrived said 1 months old, i've had 2 months) , have 98 cycles, using many cycles? i'm asking because realised apple batteries more or less useless @ holding charge after 1000 cycles , if i'm averaging 100 every 2 months gives me 1.7 years until macbook more or less desktop... to me seems poor previous windows laptops owned lasted long , expect lot more machine on £1k. (i have been told batteries in newer macbooks glued in place , replacing battery hard job , cost lots of money, mistake...
