Apple's 'Force Touch' Trackpad Fools Users Into Feeling Clicks Without Actually Moving

@ "spring forward" event on monday, apple announced brand-new macbook , updated 13-inch macbook pros redesigned trackpad called force touch trackpad.

on apple watch, force touch allows device distinguish between light press , deep press, opening new methods interaction. example, while light press simple click, deep press while browsing in safari bring wikipedia entry in pop-up window.

the force touch trackpad on macbook , new macbook pros achieves through total reinvention of way trackpad works. apple ditched "diving board" structure of older trackpads new design 4 sensors, called force sensors.

these force sensors allow user click anywhere on force touch trackpad. the "diving board" design on previous trackpads made difficult click toward top of trackpad, forcing users move fingers toward bottom of trackpad click.

force sensors bundled taptic engine, featured in upcoming apple watch. taptic engine senses when user clicks on trackpad , issues haptic feedback let user know action successful. noted techcrunch's matthew panzarino, because trackpad doesn't move. while force touch trackpad sounds clicks , feels clicks, doesn't click.
while force touch trackpad main highlight of apple's introduction of new macbook, updated 13-inch macbook pro first mac ship feature. ifixit has performed teardown of new macbook pro closer @ workings of force touch trackpad after removing machine's well-glued battery.

Battery Cycles

okay, know how battery cycles , work. want know is: how many cycles battery has how old battery is how many mah macbook shipped with how many mah have now reading thread on different site macbook batteries , commenting battery info. of them commenting saying reached 120 cycles per year. 1 guy said mac 3 years old on 250 cycles (avg. 83 year). think person had 400 after 2 years. in 'system information' says age of macbook 3 months old (when arrived said 1 months old, i've had 2 months) , have 98 cycles, using many cycles? i'm asking because realised apple batteries more or less useless @ holding charge after 1000 cycles , if i'm averaging 100 every 2 months gives me 1.7 years until macbook more or less desktop... to me seems poor previous windows laptops owned lasted long , expect lot more machine on £1k. (i have been told batteries in newer macbooks glued in place , replacing battery hard job , cost lots of money, mistake...

SSD Performing Poorly
