No purchase until April 10th?

i wonder if apple isn't doing pre-orders, because right looks won't able make online orders until ship date of april 10th...the same day watch pre-orders go live.
 

my understanding macbook available april 10, made people think apple take pre-orders before date. we're being told can order april 10.

i'm assuming apple planning/hoping have enough stock cover new orders april 10, order , you'll next day. or apple store.
