Microsoft Unveils New 'Edge' Browser to Replace Internet Explorer

earlier year, microsoft debuted new browser designed succeed internet explorer. @ time, still under development code name project spartan, @ today's build conference developers, microsoft shared additional details on new browser , unveiled name: microsoft edge.

according microsoft, edge name refers being on edge of consuming , creating. microsoft calling edge "a browser built doing," simple, no-frills design , access tools enhancing browsing experience.

edge has built-in note taking capabilities, letting users annotate, draw, , take notes right within browser, , share website notes friends. microsoft says edge uses "blazing fast core technology," more details available on speed enhancements in future.

edge includes distraction-free reading mode , tab page getting frequently-used apps quickly. there's support microsoft's virtual assistant cortana, competitor apple's assistant, siri. cortana integration helps build user's home tab page, populating relevant content , making suggestions on related sites visit.

1 of microsoft's earlier build announcements covered tools bring android , ios apps windows 10, , similarly, company has built support chrome , firefox extensions edge browser. these existing extensions able repackaged , submitted microsoft's extension portal, giving edge users wealth of extensions use shortly after browser launches.

okay, know how battery cycles , work. want know is: how many cycles battery has how old battery is how many mah macbook shipped with how many mah have now reading thread on different site macbook batteries , commenting battery info. of them commenting saying reached 120 cycles per year. 1 guy said mac 3 years old on 250 cycles (avg. 83 year). think person had 400 after 2 years. in 'system information' says age of macbook 3 months old (when arrived said 1 months old, i've had 2 months) , have 98 cycles, using many cycles? i'm asking because realised apple batteries more or less useless @ holding charge after 1000 cycles , if i'm averaging 100 every 2 months gives me 1.7 years until macbook more or less desktop... to me seems poor previous windows laptops owned lasted long , expect lot more machine on £1k. (i have been told batteries in newer macbooks glued in place , replacing battery hard job , cost lots of money, mistake...

Weird behavior on external monitor
