time tell not believe people buy new expensive watches every year... yet tech moves quick... same form factor next 2,3,4 years able cram many more sensors, power, etc it...


tear downs determine if apple watch part "popped" out people can upgrade guts..

tech repair point of view must easy replace... if breaks glass or malfunctions...

in year or 2 need order new "brain" , able have watch/jewler store able swap out expensive watch brands require special tool open clam shell casings batteries or maintenance (see swiss watches)
 

they can't make watch thin, otherwise digital crown more of pain rotate.
