Review/My experience: imos Solid EX 3D Corning Glass Protector

i've been using protector 2 months , thought i'd share pros , cons since there lot of questions glass protectors. price not cheap, cost around $60 @ time purchased iphone 6. lucky price because girlfriend's mom in taiwan @ time , picked there no shipping cost.

installing tricky not bad. other glass protector, clean environment , lots of patience perfect install not impossible. tried 'steam install' install done in bathroom after take shower. claim apparently settles dust in room giving dust free area install. lined protector , applied there 2 line of bubbles going , down on screen area both on right , left. sorry don't have pics this. wouldn't go away after weeks or how pressure put on it. ugly, couldn't used ordered one, yes spent $120 on 2 screen protectors can't enjoy phone if not perfect.

second install perfect , using without problems.


pros

-looks awesome, there no protector on it
-the curved edges cover around 80% of curvature
-made of corning gorilla glass, took off , re-applied several times using credit card lift edges , put significant pressure on without issue

cons

-lack in coating, if finger bit moist or sweaty, finger not glide. biggest issue because don't smooth glide...my finger has super dry.
-getting rid of bubbles during install hard. had put significant pressure on bubble , hold finger there minutes. had many times on second install.

potential buyers: if see bubbles put pressure on without moving finger around , hold minute make go away

people still deciding: buy if having curved protection , look. don't buy if smooth feeling when swipe because has low score on smoothness.
