Yosemite Is Taking A Long To Install

putting on 2011 mbp, see signature. hours later after start of upgrade (downloaded last night), shows half installed , progress seems glacial. realize function of relatively limited hard drive space, due os download @ start of upgrade process. agree? i've got other computers in house, , i'll let chug away rest of day if have to.

thought i'd ask, there reason concern? i'm looking @ grey screen apple in middle , progress bar. fortunately have mavericks time machine backup.
 

i got tired of staring @ it, half way complete, called apple. directed me shut computer down power key , restart it. mbp started , yosemite indeed installed. :)

asked if happened often, , told @ times happen. far! i'm liking cleaner, flatter appearance of osx 10. :):)
