What is the purpose of mission control?

i have never understood purpose of this. hidden , minimized windows not appear in it, not true picture of applications might interested in switching to. end ignoring reason, use cmd+tab , cmd +`.

spaces & expose in snow leopard better. showed minimised windows also. things mission control, isn't powerful old spaces & expose.

can app called totalspaces allows have snow leopard spaces in new osx plus features. tried free trial while , worked well. can't remember if shows minimised windows i'm guessing would.

might able chip in or can try 2 week free trial.
