I only have 5GB of apple storage. I have 27+GB of Media, what's the point?

photo's useless 5gb of storage. refuse pay more storage...
 

with features in yosemite , ios 8, 5 gb of cloud storage rather anemic, when part of 5gb used device backup.

current design of icloud, along pricing model more storage, doesn't provide incentive me pay upgrade storage limit. don't think apple competitive in area. , until are, continue make use of storage elsewhere.
