U2515H - Television: Yes ?

hey everyone,

received u2515h dell. far i'm loving it. have mid-2012 rmbp, figured best going able far ppi goes. monitor replaces oldie goodie - benq g2400wd (16:10 24 -inch 1920x1200 resolution).

have display connected using included dell mdp dp cable. love fact can run parallels in 1280x1440 window , still have half of display available whatever need. i'll share more opinions , pictures when have time play around it.

now, did notice 2 things when looking @ graphics/display section under system information.

refresh rate shows 59 hz instead of 60. also, os x detecting television, though i'm connecting via mdp out dp in on monitor. can't tell if impacting quality of display - maybe is, maybe isn't. i'll more testing , see. wondering if else has seen these 2 display abnormalities?

okay, know how battery cycles , work. want know is: how many cycles battery has how old battery is how many mah macbook shipped with how many mah have now reading thread on different site macbook batteries , commenting battery info. of them commenting saying reached 120 cycles per year. 1 guy said mac 3 years old on 250 cycles (avg. 83 year). think person had 400 after 2 years. in 'system information' says age of macbook 3 months old (when arrived said 1 months old, i've had 2 months) , have 98 cycles, using many cycles? i'm asking because realised apple batteries more or less useless @ holding charge after 1000 cycles , if i'm averaging 100 every 2 months gives me 1.7 years until macbook more or less desktop... to me seems poor previous windows laptops owned lasted long , expect lot more machine on £1k. Weird behavior on external monitor

i have external monitor (nec pa271w) has custom calibrated profile. problem i'm having whenever i'm on safari , use magic trackpad go previous page colors off while page reloads. once it's loaded colors go custom profile. after lot of reading found out if set system preferences - display - color srgb iec61966-2.1 colors match , page reloads faster. here's example of i'm seeing while go 2 finger gesture. issue happens using coverflow in finder. has experienced same issues on external monitor? driving me crazy   Forums Macs Mac Accessories iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Computers Apple Music Professional Applications iPod iWork Apple TV iLife Wireless
