i've been keeping eye out 1440p monitor i'd love screen real-estate, , saw this 1 @ costco (amazon) decent price. question whether or not work running 1440p @60hz hdmi port on computer. rather not go minidp dp since monitor on right side of macbook, if that's way it'll work guess don't have option. thanks!

btw it's 15" model nvidia geforce gt 650m 1024 mb card.
 

from find, answer no 2560x1440 through hdmi port. in case, monitor (b276hul) not provide full resolution on hdmi input - on dp input.

other manufacturers - dell u2713hm limits hdmi port 1080p.

think adapter , right monitor, 1 support 1440p on hdmi input, can want:
