iPad Smart Case On & Off switch In General Settings?

my new ipad air 2 arrived smart case apple..

now, there no on/off option in general settings make smart case put ipad sleep or wake.. case on, nothing happening..

smart case @ fault or hardware problem ipad?

wondering if has had problem , solution is..

you can set option locking , unlocking in general settings. when open case ipad should ask passcode or touchid if set lock/unlock switch under general settings this. closing case puts ipad sleep when closed , wakes when opened.
