Discrete graphics card not appearing in "About this Mac"

i had swap out ribbon cable between logic board , bluetooth/wifi area in mid-2010 macbook pro. since noticed "about mac" lists discrete intel gpu rather nvidia geforce 330m. mean using former, or latter appear if being used? mean os isn't recognizing discrete card?

thanks!

easy way tell if dgpu working.

go system preferences, select energy saver , automatic graphics switching option.

if it's there, well. turn off , go mac again.

you'll find dgpu showing.
