iOS Wifi-Security Question - Will iPhone attempt to connect to an AP insecurely?

say had ap wpa2-encryption set on ios device. other guy decides setup rogue ap same ssid own ap - encryption off.

iphone confused - or connect wpa2-encrypted 1 correct wifi password?
 

i'm verifies other information routers mac address etc, wouldn't worry.
