Macbook vs Macbook pro 13 and 15 inch

hey looking new macbook mine giving me problems (its 2012 macbook pro 15 inch 2.3 ghz intel core i7, nvidia geforce gt 650m 512 mb , 4 gb ram).

undergraduate architecture/design student , use illustrator, muse, photoshop , autocad. , @ instance 2 or 3 of these app keep running along safari , etc.

options
a) buy new macbook although inferior in terms of processor etc portable , keep older macbook around , fixed still under warranty.

b) buy macbook pro 13 inch 3.1ghz dual-core intel core i7,16gb ram 512 gb flash storage , intel iris graphics 6100 , dispose 15 inch laptop turns out little cheaper upper end 15 inch macbook pro.

c)to 15 inch macbook pro 2.5ghz quad-core intel core i7, 16gb ram 512 gb memory, intel iris pro graphics , nvidia geforce gt 750m 2gb of gddr5 memory.

out of these 2 options second option concerns screen size , graphics. don't know if should more worried processor or graphic card kind of applications using.
 

if you

i'd current 1 fixed under warranty , wait 15 inch upgrade in summer. miss quad core if 15 inch, , dgpu upgrade in summer may worth waiting for.

Battery Cycles

okay, know how battery cycles , work. want know is: how many cycles battery has how old battery is how many mah macbook shipped with how many mah have now reading thread on different site macbook batteries , commenting battery info. of them commenting saying reached 120 cycles per year. 1 guy said mac 3 years old on 250 cycles (avg. 83 year). think person had 400 after 2 years. in 'system information' says age of macbook 3 months old (when arrived said 1 months old, i've had 2 months) , have 98 cycles, using many cycles? i'm asking because realised apple batteries more or less useless @ holding charge after 1000 cycles , if i'm averaging 100 every 2 months gives me 1.7 years until macbook more or less desktop... to me seems poor previous windows laptops owned lasted long , expect lot more machine on £1k. (i have been told batteries in newer macbooks glued in place , replacing battery hard job , cost lots of money, mistake...

SSD Performing Poorly
