Powerline adapter to improve Airplay connection from Airport Extreme? (UK)

hi,

live in old house thick walls , bought airport extreme replace bt home hub 5, in attempt improve reliability of airplay connection , general wifi signal. did improve things, airplay connection still cuts out lot in places furthest away ae.

buy airport express try , extend wifi network, discovered can power line adapters extend wifi network , create new hotspots throughout house via power cables.

upon reading bit further seems great solution me there more potential issues , headaches too. eg. creating multiple wifi networks or bt 1 looking @ seems have issues connecting imacs. house entirely macs , apple devices, plus additional airplay speakers.

have experience or advice offer on this? ideally i'd find out power line solution should give me best airplay performance , compatibility apple stuff. or should try airport express or solution?

i'm not going suggest path take, experience powerline adapters. haz it. :apple:

have "tp-link tl-pa511 kit av500 powerline gigabit adapter starter kit, 500mbps" powerline adapter kit have used in apartment year or little longer now. (there newer model of mine, named "tp-link tl-pa6010kit av600 powerline adapter starter kit, 600mbps, gigabit ports, plug , play, power saving mode" on amazon.)

have used them in couple if different ways, , speeds have been acceptable. used them once ae wall , wall work laptop in room. right now, have them connected lan port on at&t router wall , @ other end plugs ae , allows me provide wired , wireless service ae in other end of apartment. think it's fine solution me.

negative issue have "sleep function" cannot turned off using software on mac - have windows :)mad: ) version of software utility turns off sleep function. i'm in process of planning , getting them attached windows laptop sleep function turned off. issue have unplug them wall , re-plug them "wake up" - doesn't happen every time sleep, , far it's been minimal problem. other owners have used software utility turn off sleep mode, , solves problem 100% of time.

let me know if have other specific questions, happy answer them. thanks.
