Make Messages private ?

i don't how when imessage or text, how pops right in middle of screen. there's no privacy whatsoever.

wife might text me saying bang me hard tonight. or brother asking lets grab bag o weed tonight.

joking.

don't texts popping that. there way change privacy setting ? or have them show in status bar or ?
 

haha, had same problem coworker took phone while wife texting me. handed back. lol.

settings-->notifications-->messages --- turn off: show on lock screen turn off on lock screen.

or scroll down bit more , choose: show previews --- turn off , it'll say: wife has sent message. (this have off while show on lock screen on).
