does have above drive??

im considering on getting 1 replace apple superdrive.
im aware apple superdrive writes @ 8x dvd, , samsung version @ 6x, added benefit of writing bluray discs outweighs slower dvd writing speeds!

not want use watch or burn movies etc. used burn data, such home movies , pics of family etc, bluray discs backup/archives etc. bearing in mind, need additional software burn basic data discs, or can done same burning dvd??

in advance info.
 

i have samsung 506 connected late-2012 mini, , burns cds , dvds fine, no problems @ (i use both os 10.8.5 , 10.10.2).

i've used toast , "simply burns" burning apps.

haven't tried bluray discs, yet.
