Time Machine failed to 'index'. Hidden files stuck on MBP

hey guys. first thread/post on here not 100% sure if right section post in it's more of general mac/time machine problem oh well

had accident involving old 2010 mbp 250gb , can of drink, has led me getting new 2014 retina mbp 500gb. fortunately i've been backing old computer time machine since last year have plenty of backups. went through usual steps transfer files time machine new computer , went until 2 minutes end said indexing files, or along lines. tried 3 times , same result every time. in end started new computer , manually copied files over. still have files time machine transfer hidden somewhere on computer. how delete them?
