Apple Partners With SunPower Corporation to Build Two Solar Power Plants in China

environmentally conscious solar panel manufacturer sunpower corporation today announced partnership apple result in 2 solar power projects totaling 40 megawatts in "environmentally-preserved" aba region of china's sichuan province.

under construction, projects split across 2 sites both totaling 20 megawatts each. first site, located in hongyuan, generating 2 megawatts of power technology includes single-axis tracking rows of parabolic mirrors reflect light onto sunpower's "maxeon" cells, "which world's efficient commercially available mass-produced solar cells." second project located in ruoergai county.

as first solar powered projects deployed in aba region, combined sites expected churn out 80 million kilowatt-hours each year. upon completion, each project co-owned apple , sichuan shengtian new energy development co., ltd, sunpower's project development joint venture. work on both sites expected completed fourth quarter of 2015.

speaking the associated press, lisa jackson, apple's vice president environmental initiatives, discussed new china-focused solar power project, suggesting company's partnership sunpower in region start of bigger environmentally-focused push apple.
apple , sunpower have collaborated stateside in past, 6 plants ranging california nevada , north carolina. today's announcements mark first international solar power partnership between apple , sunpower.

Battery Cycles

okay, know how battery cycles , work. want know is: how many cycles battery has how old battery is how many mah macbook shipped with how many mah have now reading thread on different site macbook batteries , commenting battery info. of them commenting saying reached 120 cycles per year. 1 guy said mac 3 years old on 250 cycles (avg. 83 year). think person had 400 after 2 years. in 'system information' says age of macbook 3 months old (when arrived said 1 months old, i've had 2 months) , have 98 cycles, using many cycles? i'm asking because realised apple batteries more or less useless @ holding charge after 1000 cycles , if i'm averaging 100 every 2 months gives me 1.7 years until macbook more or less desktop... to me seems poor previous windows laptops owned lasted long , expect lot more machine on £1k. (i have been told batteries in newer macbooks glued in place , replacing battery hard job , cost lots of money, mistake...

SSD Performing Poorly
