Lost ~300mb after connecting to Wifi?

hi all,

brand new iphone 6 running 8.1.1. weird thing happened other day, connected wifi first time , after checking in few hours noticed lost ~300mb of storage space? know behind scenes sorcery apple trying pull?

did download 8.1.3 update? however, when check software update page, still shows "download & install" , not "install" (indicating had downloaded update)..
 

hi - there bunch of caching going on. perhaps memory using space. things photo stream cache, etc. perhaps applications using storage.

wouldn't concerned..
