Glances ... what are they good for ... ?

i have been experimenting glances , come conclusion:-

1) lot of swiping , waiting not value (if want immediate status stick complication on watch face, if need full app it's quickest tap complication or push crown , launch real app)
2) useful glance (for me @ least) playing in car can control music/podcasts
3) have removed other glances swipe takes me straight playing (or @ worst settings , 1 swipe playing)

found them more useful or missing something?
 

you know thought glances most-used feature , launch apps; i've spent time watch think should kill glances entirely , replace part of gui full-on apps. instead of swiping between glances, you'd swiping between open apps.

glances largely redundant, incomplete, non-functional (i'm looking @ "now playing") or slow usable.
