i planning go late 2012 13" rmbp 12" rmb. 1 else? lets here reasoning why.
me, planning move portability , weight. would've liked bigger display not deal breaker me.
i posted in mba crossover thread, since thread rmbp crossovers , that's facts, here goes.
walk 2 miles , have half hour train ride work every day, same coming home.
right i'm carrying 13" rmbp , ipad (was air; got big , heavy changed rmini) every day. it's ok, notice weight. , @ work don't need (actually can't use) usb ports data exchange. last week experimenting 11" mba instead of 13" rmbp, weight difference of little on pound, , noticeable. don't think rmb challenged while commuting or @ work - word, excel, outlook , safari.
so, getting rid of 1 1/2 pounds of laptop (vs. 13" rmbp) no give-up in screen quality or connectivity (in case) no issue @ all. smaller screen might or might not issue under conditions, since need have 2 documents open @ once , 13.3" screen might enough bigger make difference - hard tell without trying in person.
biggest issue whether feel putting $1300 dedicated use (and keep rmbp), or justify $1300 selling rmbp (not inclined - , things rmbp @ home, photo , video editing, i'm not sure rmb candidate for). secondary issue whether it's dumb buy gen1 design. original air , ipad innovative not developed (duh). resale value high enough might take risk.
