How accurate is screen auto turn on feature?

has had enough hands-on experience yet speak how accurate screen turning on far wrist movement goes? i've been wondering if watch turning screen on , off based on normal movement of arm , if hurt battery life. example, typically drive left hand on steering wheel. going cause watch screen turn on?
 

considering hasn't been released, nobody here able answer question several weeks.
