Sceen brightness problem and performance is very slow/sluggish!

on windows 8 tablet(acer iconia w700) sceen brightness bright/very sharp @ 50(half way) , good.

ever since press "restore plan defaults" in power options , after sceen brightness not bright/sharp , have have 100(full) same brightness/sharpness 50(halfway) before , affecting battery life , getting 2 hours on whole charge , slow/sluggish now.


how sceen brightness normal , performance normal?
 

go power settings -> advanced , turn off adaptive brightness.
