Epson Workforce DS-560 not recognized natively via wifi

just purchased subject scanner make life paperless possible.

want connect via wifi (instead of usb - can't use both simultaneously), wife can access pc - allowing our ios devices use too.

have connected mac via wifi using epson software, mac (running 10.9.5) won't see "natively" - meaning can use included epson software - pretty rudimentary. can't use devonthink or paperless or vuescan (or image capture) see scanner.

when try add via system prefs/printers , scanners using ip address, pulldown box, epson section, doesn't list drivers workforce ds-560....even though apple says it's supported model on support site.

think it'd work if switch scanner connected via usb, load drivers way, disconnect usb , go wireless? drivers "stick"?

advice appreciated.

just tested out connecting via usb. mac recognizes right away , can scan third party apps. however, tell scanner use wifi, disappears mac , i'm not able re-add manually because can't find drivers model - though know they're on machine somewhere.

using epson software....
