my wrist 175mm, 60mm wrist width.

tried both size on , tried on different bands well. before came in, believe 38mm proportionate watch get. after trying on few different watches , sizes, asked person helped me try on best size get, , said 38mm. didn't suggest him 1 preferred, didn't want show bias when asking person.

in end, i'm sticking 38mm ss black sports band , i'll canceling 42mm ss black sports band.

best bands rubber bands. felt softest , comfortable. other band sweet surprise modern buckle. fit in it, , it's second comfortable band me, second rubber bands. classic buckle has leather that's twice thick not supple modern buckle leather. thinner leather of modern buckle felt better , wraps around wrist easily.

milanese loop surprisingly comfortable. i'm still on fence whether want 1 or not. complicated put on, person helped me try on. doesn't hold shape , flops everywhere when trying put on. once it's on, better , can adjusted.

least comfortable band expensive, ss link band. naturally, it's rigid when comes flexibility. when tried 42mm ss link band, had 2 links removed both sides, , there still room. perhaps removing @ least 1 more link both sides appropriate fit. i'm wary of $449 price tag, comes $500 price tag of ss watch case itself.

i'm keeping 38mm ss black sports band. preordered white , blue sports band. hope come before disney world trip in may. modern buckle, it's unavailable, i'll have keep eye on that. guess personal tastes soft , supple bands.

in opinion, when comes bands, $249 price tag of modern buckle might not worth it, it's second 1 best , i'll it. hope 2nd , 3rd gen watch compatible bands of first gen make worth it. $449+ price tag of ss link, it's not worth it. think you're paying "engineering". think of first generation macbook air priced @ $3000, apple had re-engineer whole laptop small.
