Alarm syncing

maybe i'm doing wrong...

i'm using modular face , have alarm picked 1 of complications. when set alarm on phone, though, watch still shows 0 alarms set - "off." these 2 apps seen separate?

i'd them synced, , can't figure out if design decision or if i'm missing something.

looking if do.
 

appears design. nothing clock other time same.
start timer or stopwatch , it's same, no connection. 1 reason watch time, timer, alarms, etc independent of phone. not connected , not dependent.
