Making PowerPC G4 faster.

i have been looking on interwebs lately, , have found ways make powerpc g4 systems faster, , better.
compilation of of things have found, of may have been stated elsewhere before.

1.) install ssd, ide ssd's faster random reads, , writes.

2.) max out ram, powerbook g4 can use 2gb of ram(unless have titanium pb, can use 1gb).

3.) use monolingual or xslimmer remove craptel(intel) stuff.(monolingual can trash apps)

4.) disable flash, , use html5 instead.

5.) install performance tweaks tenfourfox, or aurorafox(just firefox performance tweaks, should work).

6.) use noscript, stop javascript, among other things.

7.) use mvps hosts file, gets rid of ads.

8.) run aticcelerator, can overclock gpu on powerpc macs.

9.) disable dashboard.

10.) disable 3d dock(i don't know how effective because have not done this, 3d dock).

11.) disable spotlight.

12.) switching mobile user agent, mobile sites lighter , render faster on g4

 

rabidz7, you've returned again... can out of here already. know tricks. no mr noobie made in last coming directly ppc forums post generic thing on how make system faster. aren't stupid here...
